A fourth Georgian volunteer has died in combat action near the Ukrainian city of Irpin, the Georgian Foreign Ministry confirmed to Radio Liberty on Saturday.

The development follows the deaths of David Ratiani and Gia Beriashvili, killed on March 18 in hostilities near Irpin. Their bodies, transported to Georgia on Thursday, were buried with military honours earlier today.

The body of Bakhva Chikobava, the third Georgian volunteer who died near the city of Mariupol, is yet to be repatriated back to Georgia.
