Edisher Kvaratskhelia, a Georgian volunteer involved in the conflict in Ukraine, on Monday became the 20th volunteer from the country to be killed in the ongoing war.
Georgia’s Interpressnews agency said Kvaratskhelia had died in a Russian missile strike this morning in the eastern Donetsk region.
According to reports, the Georgian volunteer had been in Ukraine since 2014 and involved in combat action since the beginning of the war.
The missile strike came as part of a series of attacks across Ukraine on Monday, with the country’s interior ministry saying one individual had been killed and 24 injured in a blast in Kyiv.
