Two Georgian volunteers Mikheil Kaplanishvili and Aleksandre Martiashvili were killed in combat action near the Ukrainian city of Luhansk Giorgi Zakarashvili, the Georgian ambassador to Ukraine confirmed to the Public Broadcaster on Saturday.
Zakarashvil said the ministry of foreign affairs would take all appropriate measures to ensure the repatriation of their bodies.
Since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 22 Georgian volunteers have died on the frontlines in the country.
