Three more Georgian volunteers die in Ukraine war

Three Georgian volunteers were killed and one wounded in the war in Ukraine on Saturday, Giorgi Zakarashvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine, said.
Unfortunately, we received the information that there are three deceased Georgians [...] One is wounded. As far as I know, his life is not under threat,” Zakarashvili said.
In total, nine Georgian fighters have been killed in Ukraine in the wake of Russia’s invasion of the country.
David Ratiani and Gia Beriashvili, the two Georgian volunteers killed in combat action in Ukraine, were buried with military honours in Tbilisi on Saturday.
A fourth Georgian volunteer has died in combat action near the Ukrainian city of Irpin, the Georgian Foreign Ministry confirmed to Radio Liberty on Saturday.

The Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia on Monday offered his condolences to families and relatives of the Georgian volunteers killed in Ukraine last week amid the ongoing Russian invasion.
