Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Thursday paid a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II by saying her legacy would define “many more decades to come”.
Papuashvili expressed his “heartfelt condolences” to the British royal family and the people of the United Kingdom on the passing of the monarch.
“She was an extraordinary personality and leader who reigned and shaped the history for over 70 years. Her legacy will define many more decades to come”, the head of the Georgian legislative body tweeted.

In its official statement, Buckingham Palace said the monarch had died “peacefully” at the Scottish residence of Balmoral Castle.
