Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Sunday paid tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks, commonly known as 9/11, who had lost their lives in four coordinated suicide terrorist attacks carried out by the militant Islamic extremist network al-Qaeda against the United States in 2001.
In his tweet, Papuashvili paid tribute to persons who had lost their lives in “horrific” terrorist attacks and stressed the commitement “to joint efforts of ensuring peace and security”.
