Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Parliament speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Monday congratulated the United States on its Independence Day with messages celebrating the “common values” of the two countries.
In her comments, the Georgian President stressed the date was a symbol of “courage and struggle” for freedom and independence that united both countries.

In his turn, the Parliament Speaker said he was “proud” of the “values-based partnership” with the United States that had evolved and been strengthened over 3 decades.
