Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili, on Saturday, departed to London to attend the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history.
During her working visit to London, Zourabichvili, along with the world leaders, will attend the civil funeral of Her Majesty and a reception, which will be held on behalf of the new monarch King Charles III on Sunday.
The Georgian president’s press office said, on Monday, Zourabichvili would attend Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral ceremony and a reception, to be held on behalf of the British foreign secretary, James Cleverly.
Zourabichvili is also set to hold a meeting with the speaker of the house of commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle.
