Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has expressed his “heartfelt” condolences to the British Royal Family and the United Kingdom Government over the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, at the age of 96 on late Thursday.
In his tweet, Garibashvili said “her majesty” would be “well-remembered” by the “generations ahead”, as the leader “respected and adored”.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the @RoyalFamily, the @GOVUK & the people of UK. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II was a leader who led the nation throughout the decades, being respected, adored and will be well-remembered by the generations ahead.
