Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has expressed his “heartfelt” condolences to the British Royal Family and the United Kingdom Government over the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, at the age of 96 on late Thursday.
In his tweet, Garibashvili said “her majesty” would be “well-remembered” by the “generations ahead”, as the leader “respected and adored”.

Buckingham Palace, in its official statement, said the monarch had died “peacefully” at Scottish residence of Balmoral Castle.
