Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Thursday sent her condolences to the British royal family over the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, at the age of 96 on Thursday.
In her message, Zourabichvili stressed the Queen had lived a “life of dedication” to her nation and the British Commonwealth.
“A model of determination and dedication to the values of democracy and dignity, earning her a unique place in history. My thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family”, Zourabichvili tweeted.

In its official statement, Buckingham Palace said the monarch had died “peacefully” at the Scottish residence of Balmoral Castle.
