Georgian President signs book of condolences at British Embassy over death of Queen Elizabeth II

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Tuesday signed a book of condolences opened at the British Embassy in Tbilisi over the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, at the age of 96 on Thursday.

In her note “on behalf of the Georgian people”, Zourabichvili once again expressed her condolences to the royal family and the people of Great Britain.

As we bid farewell to one of the most influential female leaders in modern history, I am confident that through her dedication and professionalism, Her Majesty will continue to be a role model for generations to come”, the message of the Georgian President said.
