Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili on Sunday signed a book of condolences in Lancaster House in London over the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, and expressed her condolences to the Royal Family and people of the United Kingdom on behalf of the Georgians.
The president said the British and Commonwealth people could be very “proud” of having a Queen like Elizabeth II, the president’s press office said.
It is a page of history that is closing down, a great page that Her Majesty made very alive and that we will all remember”, Zourabichvili noted.
