Rescuers have saved a Lithuanian citizen who was stuck on the 4000-meter Mkinvartsveri peak, also known as Kazbegi Mountain.
The Emergency Management Service of Interior Ministry received information that a 53-year-old tourist was injured.

The Kazbegi rescue team set out immediately with mountain guides and a Border Police helicopter to ave the tourist.
The tourist was taken to Ghudushauri hospital in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi for treatment.
Mountain guide Giorgi Gomiashvili who was among the rescuers wrote on his Facebook that “everything is OK” now.
Mkinvartsveri is the third highest peak in Georgia after Mount Shkhara and Janga.
It is also the seventh highest summit in the Caucasus Mountains.
The peak was recently remeasured and was officially said to be of 5,054 meters height.
