A Russian tourist, who went missing in the Georgian ski resort of Gudauri yesterday, has been found dead earlier today.
Mountain Resorts Development Company, which is responsible for the management and development of the resort, has reported that a 50-member rescue team found the body of a Russian woman, 25, at around 9am this morning.
The Company also informed that four Russian tourists were skiing in a “forbidden zone” without the necessary equipment, when the young woman got trapped in an avalanche.
Three others survived without injuries.
