After a 10-hour long rescue operation, firefighters have found three young people lost on Gomi Mountain. They have hypothermia. Rescuer workers are transporting them to an ambulance in order to receive medical assistance.

Rescuer workers also found one dead individual on Gomi Mountain.

A rescue operation on Gomi Mountain in the Guria region of Georgia continues to help three people despite bad weather, however the helicopter still cannot reach the site due to weather conditions, announces the Emergency Management Service of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Ten firefighters and rescuers have been in a rescue operation in the two-meter-high snow for eight hours on Gomi Mountain. Due to the amount of precipitation, the crew can no longer move by car. At this time, heavy equipment is following the road, while firefighters are on foot to the destination", reads the statement of the Emergency Management Service.
