Rescuers have saved an Iranian citizen in the village of Kumelaurta, in Georgia’s historical region of Tusheti.

The rescue teams of Interior Ministry’s Emergency Management Service received information that the 30-year-old tourist was badly injured.

Doctors said, transportation by land could endanger her life due to heavy injuries and long distance. Therefore, the young woman was delivered to the hospital in Tbilisi on a Border Police helicopter.

Reascuers have saved four American citizens in the village of Omalo, in Georgia’s historical region of Tusheti. The Emergency Management Service of Interior Ministry received information the tourists were injured earlier today. Three women and a man were taken to Ghudushauri hospital in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi for treatment on a Border Police helicopter.
