Georgian rescuers save young man stuck on cliff near Birtvisi Fortress

Georgian rescuers have saved a young man who was unable to climb down from a cliff in Georgia’s eastern Tetritskaro municipality, near Birtvisi Fortress.

The Emergency Management Service reports the man could not climb down the cliff from a height of 100 metres because of the difficult terrain.

The man was saved with no injuries. Photo: Emergency Management Service.

With the help of the rescuers from the MIA Emergency Situations Management Agency the man was saved with no injuries. 

The rescuers say the young man’s life is not in danger.
