Reascuers have saved four American citizens in the village of Omalo, in Georgia’s historical region of Tusheti. The Emergency Management Service of Interior Ministry received information the tourists were injured earlier today. Three women and a man were taken to Ghudushauri hospital in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi for treatment on a Border Police helicopter.

A Georgian border police helicopter on a rescue operation in the winter resort town of Gudauri in the north of the country lost control and crashed in a ravine on Friday, th Georgian Interior Ministry said.
