The Caucasus skitouring network, a group of Georgian professionals has measured the country’s third-highest peak of Mkinvartsveri.
Based on the new estimations, Mkinvartsveri, also known as Kazbegi Mountain, is 5,054 meters high.
Mkinvartsveri is the third-highest peak in Georgia after Mount Shkhara and Janga and the seventh-highest summit in the Caucasus Mountains.
