The mountainous Georgian regions of Kazbegi and Svaneti have been hit by snow as the has temperature dropped across Georgia in previous days.
Photos and videos of snowy areas from Kazbegi and Svaneti appeared on Facebook this morning.
The weather was windy, rainy and cloudy on June 29-30 across the country, while coastal regions observed high waves and threats of storm.
The National Environment Agency reports that temperature will rise starting July 2. Short showers and severe winds will last all day long today.

No showers are in the forecast until July 5.
Kazbegi resort is located in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia and attracts thousands of tourists annually.
The Georgian region of Svaneti, located in northwest Georgia, is also an attractive tourist spot.
