101-year-old-woman recovers from coronavirus in western Georgia

A 101-year-old woman has recovered from coronavirus in the western Georgian town of Kutaisi. Tamara Pkhakadze is one of the 106,328  individuals who have defeated COVID-19 in Georgia so far.

A Tik-Tok video of Tamara Pkhakadze dancing with a nurse of the Kutaisi Church Hospital Mariam Tsagareishvili has gone viral:

Tsagareishvili is also infected with coronavirus, but she told the local Rioni TV on Friday that nevertheless she continues to work 24/7 to help other infected patients.

Another nurse named Salome Kakurideze, who is also infected, also said that she loves her profession and is passionate to help others.

Georgia has reported 4,472 new cases of coronavirus over the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of cases confirmed since late-February to 127,942.

Meanwhile, 4,058 people have recovered, increasing the overall recoveries to 106,328, while with 34 new fatality cases, the number of coronavirus-related deaths now stands at 1,195.
