About 70 employees of the cardiology clinic ‘Heart’ located in Tbilisi have tested positive for coronavirus.

Some patients hid the fact that they had a fever at home ... We saw that the doctors got sick with the virus, then we saw that the nurses got sick too - all the staff who had close contact with patients,” said Melia.
The cardiology department has closed and the clinic restricted admission of patients until December 10.

The government of Georgia has imposed further restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country. The restrictions that will be in effect between November 28 and January 31 are as follows: An effective curfew will be in force between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00. The restriction will be temporarily lifted on December 31 and January 6 (for New Year and Christmas). Restaurants and other food facilities will fully move to takeaway services which includes takeaway, delivery and drive.

A 101-year-old woman has recovered from coronavirus in the western Georgian town of Kutaisi. Tamara Pkhakadze is one of the 106,328 individuals who have defeated COVID-19 in Georgia so far. Expressing her gratitude to the hospital employees Tamara Pkhakadze said she feels very well now.
