23% of Georgia’s adult population fully vaccinated as of Sept. 16

The adult vaccination rate in Georgia stands at 23% as of  September 16, says the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The National Centre for Disease Control says that 928,192 individuals (32.5 per cent of the country’s adult population) have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, while 660,832 (23.1 per cent of the country’s adult population) have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 25,150 Individuals received the coronavirus vaccine yesterday.

Epidemiologists say that it is not possible to defeat the pandemic without the vaccination of at least 60 per cent of the country’s population of 3.7 million by the end of 2021.
