A 96-year-old woman has recovered from coronavirus in the Black Sea resort town of Batumi, Georgia.
Her son and daughter-in-law have also recovered from the infection.
All three of them were treated at the International University Hospital Batumi, where the family was taken two weeks ago.
The 96-year-old woman had acute respiratory failure and severe pneumonia but after two weeks of treatment was discharged.
Georgia has reported 1,943 new cases of coronavirus, of which 650 were registered in the capital city of Tbilisi, 506 in the Black Sea Adjara region and 324 in the Imereti region.
As for recoveries, 1,833 people recovered in the past 24 hours while the total number of recoveries has reached 28,633.
In total, 20 people died from coronavirus in Georgia in the past 24 hours.
