Georgia has reported 2,295 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours and 209 of them are medical workers, says Head of the National Disease Control Centre Amiran Gamkrelidze.
Gamkrelidze urged medical workers to exercise caution, but noted “the infection rate of medical workers in our country is not more than six per cent, which is not a high rate", Gamkrelidze said.
Georgia reported 2,295 new cases of coronavirus earlier today, of which 989 were registered in the capital city of Tbilisi, 387 in the Black Sea Adjara region and 387 in the Imereti region.
Georgia has had 46,817 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
