Georgia reports 2,401 new cases of coronavirus, 2,289 recoveries, 20 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,401 new cases of coronavirus, 2,289 recoveries and 20 deaths in the past 24 hours.

15,332 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 

The new 2,401 cases were recorded in: 

• Tbilisi - 976 cases 
• Adjara - 328 cases 
• Imereti - 368 cases 
• Kvemo Kartli - 61 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 135 cases 
• Guria - 62 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 280 cases 
• Kakheti - 70 cases 
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 31 cases 
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 55 cases 
• Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 35 cases 

Georgia has had 49,218 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

Since then 33,459 individuals have recovered, while 401 others have died. 

4,489 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 638 of the 4,489 patients are in critical condition. 293 of the 638 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

1,127 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, while 3,160 individuals are in quarantine. 

28,690 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 860,000 individuals have been tested for coronaviris in Georgia so far.
