Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Wednesday said the latest Rule of Law Index by the World Justice Project, which ranked Georgia “ahead of several” European Union and NATO member countries was “an answer to all speculations and the long-standing disinformation” alleging “problems in the rule of law”.
In his comments to the media, Garibashvili said the latest data showed that Georgia was in first place among the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, stressing Georgia was “advanced in all parameters”.
The Head of the Government also noted he was happy to receive “this ranking and an honourable status” by “the most authoritative organisations”.
Earlier today, Georgia was ranked 48th out of 142 countries, being ahead of all EU candidate countries.
