The Georgian national football team on Friday lost to Spain by 1:7 in the fourth round of the Euro 2024 qualification stage, held at the Dinamo Arena stadium in the country’s capital city of Tbilisi.
The Georgian squad are fourth behind Norway in the group, with leaders sitting on 12 points, Spain with six and Norway and Georgia on four and Cyprus on zero.
The national team, coached by Willy Sagnol, will hold their next match in the qualifying stage against Norway on September 12 in Oslo.
