Georgian centre-back Saba Sazonov on Thursday became the third Georgian player in the Italian Serie A championship after signing a contract with Torino.
Sazonov joins Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Frosinone’s Giorgi Kvernadze in the competition.

Sazonov came through the ranks of Zenit St. Petersburg - with which he made his first-team debut - before moving to Dinamo Moscow in July 2021, Torino’s press service said.

He made 44 appearances and scored one goal between the league and the national cup with Dinamo Moscow’s first team.
