Napoli’s Kvaratskhelia wins Serie A MVP award

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger of the Italian club Napoli, was on Friday named as the best player of the Serie A national league 2022-2023 season.
Kvaratskhelia had assisted Napoli in securing their lead at the top of the national league’s table with his match-winning contributions as a result the club won their first Serie A title in 33 years following a 1-1 draw against Udinese.

He also received three Player of the Month awards by EA Sports, a division of Electronic Arts that develops and publishes sports video games, in the same season, setting a new all-time record in the history of the championship.
The 22-year-old footballer became the first Georgian who was recognized as the best player in the top European championship.
