The Georgian national team and Napoli player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is among the 12 contenders nominated for the Best FIFA Men’s Player.
FIFA published the list of achievements from Kvaratskhelia’s debut season for Napoli, including helping the Italian club to win the first Serie A title in 33 years with his contributions, being named the Most Valuable Player of the series and being included in Serie A Team of the Season.

Kvaratskhelia’s list of contributions also includes the Serie A Goal of the Season award and naming as the UEFA Champions League Young Player of the Season.
The 22-year-old Georgian footballer is also among the top 30 contenders nominated for the Men’s Ballon d'Or award, presented annually by France Football to the best player of the year.
