Ukraine is very grateful to the Georgian people and the country for the solidarity and support shown in “this difficult time”, Andrei Kasyanov, the Charge d'affaires of Ukraine in Georgia, said on Monday.
Kasyanov made the comment following Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili’s annual report to the Parliament, in which she expressed Georgia’s “unwavering” support for Ukraine.
The President of Georgia clearly stated that Georgia was a strong friend and strategic partner of Ukraine. The Georgian people express their solidarity and friendship with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people every day,” Kasyanov told the journalists.
In his comments, the Ukrainian diplomat also highlighted the conflict in Ukraine was deciding “more than the fate” of his country.
