By defeating North Macedonia, Georgia earned its second win in Group G of the qualifiers.

During the game, Georgia's Giorgi Shermadini and Thad McFadden scored 20 and 26 points, respectively.
The Georgian supporters of the match expressed their solidarity with the Ukrainian people amid Russia's attack on Ukraine by displaying the Ukrainian flags.
