Senior and youth competitions have been moved to different time slots, with next year's EuroBasket moved to September 1-18, 2022.
The outcome is a calendar [...] with a balanced distribution of top events, keeping always in mind the welfare and availability of players. I am looking forward to the day when the basketball community will be able to get back on the court," said FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis.
Georgia is co-hosting the competition's 41st edition with Italy, Germany and Czech Republic. The country unveiled a new sporting venue to host EuroBasket matches last year.
