The strategic partnership between Georgia and the United Kingdom, and the close relations between the two nations were discussed in a meeting between the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and his British counterpart Boris Johnson on the sidelines of the ongoing NATO Summit.
Garibashvili thanked Johnson for his “unwavering support” for Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration, and expressed his hope that the partnership between the two countries would be deepened further, the Government Administration said.

The meeting also focused on close cooperation in “various fields”, with the sides noting the current strategic dialogue and cooperation in “a number of areas” had taken the existing relations to “a new level”.
The head of the Georgian Government also invited Johnson for an official visit to Georgia.
