Georgian Prime Minister, National Endowment for Democracy head discuss long-term partnership

The Long-term partnership between Georgia and the National Endowment for Democracy was discussed on Saturday in a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Damon Wilson, the President and CEO of the NED.

The meeting focused on the implemented and ongoing reforms in Georgia that have been reflected in international ratings and evaluations, the Government Administration said.

The two officials highlighted the Georgian Government's commitment to achieve “further progress” on the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration path, and discussed their cooperation in supporting democratic institutions, civil society and citizen-oriented governance in Georgia.

Garibashvili and Wilson also expressed willingness to “further strengthen” the close cooperation and future partnership.
