Nineteen pharmacies have been found in the Georgian capital Tbilisi by the investigative service of Georgia’s Finance Ministry to be selling psychoactive drugs illegally.
The ministry says that a large quantity of psychoactive drugs has been confiscated from the pharmacies which were either placed on shelves or were hidden inside the facilities.
The crime is punishable by one to three years in prison.
The Georgian government will use all the instruments to reduce prices on medicines, said Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia earlier today.
