Police detain four drug traffickers, seize 5.5 kg of narcotics

Georgian law enforcers have detained four drug traffickers over the past several days and confiscated 5.5 kg of drugs and more than 10 liters of a new psychoactive substance.
One of the detainees used Telegram to purchase drugs from an organised criminal group abroad and later sold them in Georgia.
More than five litters of a new psychoactive substance was confiscated from his flat.
Two of the four suspects were arrested in Dedoplistskaro municipality of eastern Georgia.
More than four kilograms of opium and drugs containing heroin were confiscated from their flats.
The crime is punishable by 8-20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
