Georgian law enforcers have detained a Russian citizen, identified only as A.A. for the purchase and possession of drugs in large quantities.
Law enforcers stopped the detainee while she was driving on the Lagodekhi-Bakurtsikhe-Tbilisi road and seized seven kilograms of heroin while searching A.A’s handbag.
The cost of the seized drugs on the so-called ‘black market’ is about two million GEL.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
