The Georgian police have detained one foreign citizen for the illegal purchase and possession of 220 pills of Subutex in the Kvemo Kartli region.

The Ministry reported today that the individual, identified only as E.A. and born in 1982, was found in possession of “especially large quantity of drugs” in Gardabani municipality.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
