Forty-two kindergartens have been closed in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi since October 12 after teachers and kindergarteners tested positive for the coronavirus.
Head of Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency Kakhaber Gvantseladze said that among the COVID-19 patients, eight are kindergarteners.
Kindergartens opened on October 12 throughout Georgia except in the Adjara region and Ozurgeti municipality, as most of the newly infected cases of coronavirus were recorded in those areas for that period.
Out of Tbilisi’s 183 kindergartens, four did not open on October 12 as personnel tested positive for the coronavirus.
