Kindergartens have opened today throughout Georgia except for in the Adjara region and Ozurgeti municipality where kindergartens are still closed amid severe epidemiological situations.

Out of Tbilisi’s 183 kindergartens, four have not opened as employees of these kindergartens tested positive for the coronavirus.

I would like to congratulate all children this day and wish them a successful school year. By order of the Minister of Health, numerous regulations were introduced in our kindergartens to ensure a completely safe environment for our children,” said Head of Kindergarten Management Agency of Tbilisi Kakhaber Gvantseladze.

If a child is in kindergarten and has a temperature, they will be brought to an isolated room.

Before entering, children have to conduct thermal screening and sanitise hands.

Beds are located in a way to keep distance amongst children.
