All public, private schools to continue studies remotely through 1st semester in Tbilisi, other big cities

All public and private schools will continue studies remotely until the end of the 1st semester in Tbilisi and nine other big cities due to the rapid increase in the number of new coronavirus cases in the country.

In order to reduce the mobility in big cities all public and private schools in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Zestaponi, Poti, Telavi, Gori, Gardabani and Marneuli will have to move to remote studies until the end of the 1st semester of the 2020-2021 academic year”, the Ministry of Education reports.

Schools in the Adjara region will also continue remote studies until the end of the 1st semester.

School students of all grades in Tbilisi, the Adjara region and nine other cities will have to attend remote classes.
