A total of 158 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed over the last 24 hours in Georgia.
However, the medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia told journalists today that this number is not a reason to panic.
Out of the 158 new cases:
Ezugbaia said that despite the increasing number of new cases, contacts are being identified quickly and placed in self-isolation.

As of now Georgia has confirmed a total of 2075 cases of COVID-19 since late February, including 1363 recoveries and 19 deaths.
