Coronavirus: 7 employees of Nikora, Zgapari supermarkets infected in Tbilisi

Two employees of Nikora supermarket at Vazha-Pshavela Avenue close to Medical University metro station as well as five employees of Zgapari supermarket at Rustavi Highway have been infected with COVID-19 in Georgia. 

All of the infected individuals and those in direct contact with them have been placed in quarantine and self-isolation. However, both supermarkets remain open for customers now. 

Meanwhile, today Dreamland Oasis Chakvi hotel in Adjara region has been placed on temporary lockdown as a doctor attending a conference along with 400 other doctors has tested positive for coronavirus.

Georgia has confirmed 38 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, which is a record high number since April 16 when 42 cases of coronavirus were reported.
