Teona Tskhomelidze, a journalist of Rustavi 2, TV has tested positive for coronavirus. Some other 300 employees of the TV company were checked via PCR testing.
The family and close contacts of Tskhomelidze have gone into self-isolation.
Tskhomelidze said she did not have any specific symptoms of the virus, but felt slight fatigue.
The source of her infection is also unknown yet as Tskhomelidze said she did not have a direct contact with infected individuals.
I tested positive for coronavirus today. I was likely infected by a respondent – as I did not have contacts with other infected individuals”, Tskhomelidze posted on Facebook yesterday.
“I do not have a temperature, but I feel a strange pain in my back and in my joints”, she added

Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 1,917 cases of the coronavirus.
Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia announced today that 'we are not going to and are not ready to impose strict economic restrictions' following the rise in coronavirus cases at a press conference earlier today.
