New 5 GEL collector coins dedicated to 100th anniversary of Tbilisi State University

The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) has issued a 5 GEL (Georgian lari) silver collector coin, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Tbilisi State University.
The new coins picture the emblem of the Tbilisi State University, planetary bodies such as the moon, stars and the sun and the words "á®á£áá ááá á" (five lari) written on the front side.
The other side depicts the main building of the university. The bottom of the coin reads "á¡áá¥áá ááááá", "GEORGIA", "1918”, "2018" and "5 â¾".
The graphic designer of the new 5 GEL collector coin is Nino Gongadze.
The 1,500 coins were produced by the Royal Mint of Spain. The price of one coin is 95 GEL (about $38.38/€30.86*).
The coins are on sale starting today at the cash centre of the NBG, in the Money Museum in Kvareli and online.
