The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) will issue a 10 GEL (Georgian lari) silver collector coin, dedicated to Georgian Independence Day.
A fluttering national flag and the state emblem, the heraldic symbols of Democratic Republic of Georgia in the years of 1918-1921, will be the main composition of the coin.
The front side of the coin will read: "26 May”, "1918”, "Democratic Republic of Georgia”, "10 lari”, in Georgian.
The reverse side of the coin will also feature the current Coat of Arms of Georgia, with the inscriptions "Georgia”, "10 lari” and "2018” in Georgian.
The coin has been struck in FNMT-RCM, Mint of Spain, said the NBG.
The sale of the coin will start on May 15, 2018 and it can be purchased at the National Bank of Georgia Cash Centre and Money Museum in Kvareli. The coin can also be purchased via the online store.
The coin will sell for 100 GEL.
