Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgia’s newly approved Prime Minister, will make his first visit as the head of the Government to Brussels.
Kobakhidze on Thursday noted the visit was scheduled for later this month.
“A visit to Brussels is scheduled for February 20-21 - it will concern both the European Union and NATO. The agenda has already been set", he told reporters.
The Georgian Parliament on Thursday approved Kobakhidze, the former Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, as the head of the Government with 84 votes in favour and 10 against, after the vote was triggered by the resignation of Irakli Garibashvili in late January.
