Shalva Lomidze, the head of the Intelligence Service of Georgia, on Wednesday briefed Irakli Kobakhidze, the newly appointed Prime Minister of the country, on his office’s operational and analytical activities.
The exchange at the Government's Tbilisi offices also discussed the agency’s development priorities for this year, including planned international projects and initiatives to enhance capabilities in intelligence, technical, scientific and educational areas, the Government press office said.
The meeting addressed Georgia's security landscape, ongoing events in the Black Sea region and their potential development.
